The 50th Annual Convention for the Western Region of the National Black Law Students Association is taking place January 3-7, 2018 in San Francisco, California. We invite you to join us for a week of oral advocacy competitions, informative panels, networking, community service and more. We look forward to seeing our WRBLSA Family in January!

COMPETITIONS

 

Regional Frederick Douglass Moot Court and Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competitions will take place during Regional Convention. Each competitor must be in good standing, with all dues paid, as a NBLSA member. Also, the teams must come from a school that is an active WRBLSA Chapter to participate in competitions. Law Students & Alumni, your convention registration cost covers: attendance at all panels and workshops; access to nightlife and mixers; attendance at plenary sessions; attendance at the community service event; and access to the Annual Awards Dinner Gala. During the Dinner Gala, there will be dinner, dancing, and recognition for various chapter activities and participation in Regional programming! Think of your convention registration as an "all-access" pass to everything you would want to do during the 50th Annual Western Regional Convention.

*Please note that WRBLSA is empowered to make and enforce its own rules and to require that its members and officers refrain from conduct injurious to NBLSA or its purposes. The National Executive Board will have the power to discipline or otherwise censure its members, officers, staff persons and committee members. Enforcement of any disciplinary action is pursuant to Article V, Section 4(g) of the National Constitution. Registration is non-refundable. Registration is non-transferable with in 30 days of convention.
